When asked about his work, the artist quotes Walt Whitman’s Song of the universal: “In this broad earth of ours, Amid the measureless grossness and the slag, Enclosed and safe within its central heart, Nestles the seed perfection.” The lifeboat is a Noah’s ark containing the seed of perfection. The planet will bud once again and, we if continue down this path, won’t be here to see it. This time nobody will be around to save us. The boat contains a new start. Nature as it is. It contains local plants, creating a small habitat travelling towards a less grey and brighter future.

Exhibit place Lé de Munt da Rina

The Rina Lake and the nearby Colletto Pass is where the paths climbing from Valle Isarco, Val Pusteria, and Val Badia intersect. The node boasts a stunning view over Sass dla Crusc and Sass de Putia. It also represents the metaphorical border between Ladin, spoken in Val Badia, and German in the rest of the area. Lago di Rina is a meeting place, including one for contemporary art.
