I thought that art should be erected in nature with the same pose and determination of local animals and people. At that moment I saw a (...) horn, symbol of strength and pride, a weapon for the conquest or defense, which represents the desire to look beyond the sky. The horn is made of aluminum cable, about 11 m high, with a diameter of 90 cm at the base.

Exhibit place Strada de la Vena

Picolin is located on the old Val Badia road and on the "Strada de la Vena", a route used to carry iron from Fursil to Val Badia in late-mediaeval times. Various historical buildings and the chapel dedicated to St Anthony stand as testimony to the importance of the place in terms of its strategic interest to the nobles and clergy. SMACH's interest focuses on its logistically unique geographical location and on the function the place served in the past. Above all, "Ćiasa dl Maier", once headquarters of the bishop's forge in Alfur, and the Alfur hamlet itself deserve to be taken into consideration. The new "Piz de Plaies" cableway base station was built along the road a few years ago, on the section between "Ćiasa dl Maier" and "Alfur".
