Iradié

San Martin TOCC

Iradié is the result of winning the TOCC call, promoted by the Ministry of Culture in order to promote innovation and digitisation in the cultural and creative sectors. Founded on a rigorous methodological approach, the project is based on an in-depth research of the territory conducted through historical and demoethnoanthropological methodologies in the context of San Martin de Tor. The supervision of the historical-archival section was entrusted to Werner Pescosta, while archaeologists Sonia Tucci and Massimo Massussi led the field investigations. Through a meticulous methodological approach, Iradié was able to collect a vast corpus of previously unexplored historical and cultural materials. This content, curated by experts in collaboration with the local community, forms the core of the thematic itineraries and multimedia content in the app. This synergy of expertise enabled a comprehensive understanding of the history and traditions of the community, turning 'Iradié' into a valuable resource for the identification, valorisation and development of cultural heritage. The research results were systematised and implemented in a dedicated webapp, accessible to all members of the local community and guests of San Martin de Tor.

Iradié offers users the unique opportunity to explore the heritage of San Martin de Tor in depth, allowing them to immerse themselves in the stories of the local people, traditions and landscapes. Through a wide range of content ranging from ancient legends to contemporary customs, the app offers a detailed overview of the region's vibrant cultural fabric, encouraging users to explore the many facets of the area at their own pace. Featuring an intuitive interface and customisable functionality, the 'Iradié' app is designed to meet the needs of a diverse audience, ensuring accessibility to users of all ages and backgrounds. Through an engaging and enriching experience, "Iradié" aims to celebrate and preserve the unique spirit of San Martin de Tor, the cultural centre of Val Badia.

The outcome of the Iradié project is captured in the webapp and the connected book “San Martino in Badia. Un viaggio tra storia, tradizioni e modernità.”
