The large tower (tor in Ladin) houses inside it the sculpture “Falling”: a body suspended in a structure made of scaffolding tubes. The bronze figure is one of six created in 2013 by the artist for the “Conditio Humana” cycle. As the title of the series suggests, the work depicts existence balanced between physical strength, containment, endurance, and collapse.

This new artistic and architectural element visually references the main body tower of the museum housed in the medieval Ciastel de Tor. Additionally, “Tor (Fallender)” relates to the natural landscape by entering into a close dialogue with it and ideally introducing the SMACH Val dl’Ert, whose path begins nearby and leads to the discovery of over twenty artworks installed among woods and clearings.

La figura bronzea è una delle sei realizzate nel 2013 dall’artista per il ciclo “Conditio Humana”. Come suggerisce il titolo della serie, l’opera raffigura l’esistenza in bilico tra forza fisica, contenimento, sopportazione e cedimento.

Questo nuovo elemento artistico e architettonico si riferisce visivamente alla torre del corpo principale del museo, ospitato nel medievale Ciastel de Tor. Inoltre, “Tor (Fallender)” si relaziona con il paesaggio naturale entrando in stretto dialogo con esso e introducendo idealmente la SMACH Val dl’Ert, il cui percorso inizia nelle vicinanze e porta alla scoperta di oltre venti opere d’arte installate tra boschi e radure.

Der große Turm (tor in Ladinisch) beherbergt die Skulptur “Fallender”: ein Körper, der in einer Struktur aus Gerüstrohren hängt. Die Bronzefigur ist eine von sechs, die der Künstler 2013 für den Zyklus “Conditio Humana” geschaffen hat. Wie der Titel der Serie andeutet, stellt das Werk die Existenz zwischen körperlicher Stärke, Zurückhaltung, Ausdauer und Versagen dar.

Dieses neue künstlerische und architektonische Element nimmt visuell Bezug auf den Hauptturm des Museums, der sich im mittelalterlichen Ciastel de Tor befindet. Darüber hinaus bezieht sich “Tor (Fallender)” auf die natürliche Landschaft, indem es in einen engen Dialog mit ihr tritt und auf ideale Weise das SMACH Val dl’Ert vorstellt, dessen Weg in der Nähe beginnt und zur Entdeckung von über zwanzig Kunstwerken führt, die inmitten von Wäldern und Lichtungen installiert sind.
