“Rové adalerch?”
The artist Claudia Barcheri surprised the inhabitants of the village of Antermoia by sending them a limited edition of postcards. The cards portray a motif in black and white, that the artist chose in the Ciasa da La Curt, and that recalls the theme of the border. Each individual piece of art was hand-printed with silkscreen process. With this action, the artist not only crosses the private border, but also the one between art and audience. She wants to measure the acceptance and assimilation of art. Treasure hunting is therefore the only way to be able to view the artist's work and discover the outcome of her intervention.

Claudia Barcheri ha sorpreso gli abitanti del paese di Antermoia spedendo loro una serie limitata di cartoline con dei motivi che rievocano il tema del confine. L’artista ha scattato le foto nella tradizionale casa ladina “La Curt”, dopodiché le ha elaborate e stampate con la tecnica analogica della serigrafia. Con quest’azione, l’artista valica non solo il confine privato, ma anche quello tra l’arte e il pubblico. Vuole mettere alla prova l’accoglienza e l’assimilazione dell’arte. Andare di casa in casa è l’unico modo per poter visualizzare l’opera dell’artista e scoprire l’esito del suo intervento.

Claudia Barcheri hat die Einwohner des Bergdorfes Untermoi überrascht, indem sie ihnen eine Serie von Postkarten geschickt hat, die dem Thema „Grenzen“ gewidmet sind. Sie hat etliche Fotos im traditionellen ladinischen Haus „La Curt“ aufgenommen, diese überarbeitet und durch die analoge Technik der Serigrafie gedruckt. Durch diese Aktion überschreitet die Künstlerin nicht nur die Grenzen der Privatsphäre, sondern auch jene zwischen Kunst und Publikum. Sie möchte die Empfangsbereitschaft und Aneignung gegenüber der Kunst prüfen, denn die einzige Möglichkeit, ihre Arbeit zu sehen, ist, von Haus zu Haus zu gehen und die Einwohner dazu zu befragen.
